Morjim Beach is on the north bank of the Chapora estuary, about 18km from Baga.
Known for its quite and secluded atmosphere, not many tourists have been able to explore this wonderful site.
The crystal clear water is swimmer's paradise. The breath taking view of the sea and setting of sun from the cliff at one end is worth watching.
Right at the shores of this beautiful beach is the artistic Salija Resort.
A lot of beach activities such as Dolphin rides, para sailing, kite flying etc. are carried out throught day time.
The best part is the sunset view from the famous Siolim Bridge, which lies 7kms south of morjim.
Baga Beach
Also Famous for its night life and all day long beach activities, Baga is an extenision of Calangute beach.
Here many narrow lanes lead towards the beach, and the lanes are clustered with Hotels, restaurants, and many many small shopes, where one can buy beach wear to fancy and traditional jwellery.
You can artistically tattoo your body with henna color on and off the beach.
At the sourthen end a pathway along the hill side leads to world famous Anjuna Flea Market. While towards the northern side you can walk towards the Fort Aguada, crossing Calangute,candolim & Sinquriem Beaches for a good sunset.
Anjuna Beach
Famous for its full moon parties, Anjuna is the most visited places by Hippies.
Beautifully surrounded by immense coconut groves, Anjuna beach is generally safer for a swim.
Traders from all over India and abroad come to sell their wares at the Wednesday flea market.
Anjuna is quite close to baga / calangute and takes just 15 minutes on a motorcycle or Car.
Colva Beach
Stretching from Mobor to Majorda, Colva is the longest beach in the Goan Coastline.
Many water sports activities are carried out here, where one can have his good time throught the day, and during the nights enjoy food with some spirits.
Nearest town is Margaon, Capital of the Salcete Province.
