SE CATHEDERAL is the largest Church in Goa. Its construction was started in 1562, during the regin of King Dom Sebastiao (1557-78), and was completed in 1652.
Its architecture is a mixture of Portuguese-Gothic style, with Corinthian interior & tuscun exterior.
The main altar is dedicated to St.Catherine of Alexandria, and the old paintings around.
At the top the building has the huge 'Golden Bell', which is not only the largest in entire Asia.

This Church is a perfect example of fancy ancient workmanship, and then you will be definitely in full praise of the 17th century pieces of religious art.
The interiors are magnificent and the wall and ceiling are gilded and covered with intricately craved wood panels.
There are four statues of the four humble apostles at the lower part of the reredos and above the reredos is the statue of the divine Jesus Christ on the Cross. Like several other churches of Old Goa, here too sculpted tombstones of the Portuguese gentry pave the floor of the nave.

When you enter the Basilica, you will see an eye-catching display of architectural pieces in wood, stone, gold and granite.
There are plenty surprises in store. Immediately to your right is the altar of St. Anthony and to your left is a wooden statue of St. Francis Xavier.
Rachol church (Seminary), Raia
The seminary was founded by the Jesuits in 1580, and was originally locate at Margao. Earlier, there was also a hospital, a school for poor and a theological college at the seminary. Fr. Thomas Stephens, the first Englishman to set foot on the Indian subcontinent, established the country's third ever printing press overhear.
The Museum of Christian Art, was established here in 1991 by the Indian National Trust of Architecture and Cultural Heritage.
Mary Immaculate Conception Church, Panjim
This church is located at the main square or the Church square in the heart of the town and is a main place of worship for people in the city.
Originally, it was built in 1540, but was rebuilt from the foundation in 1619.
The main altar is dedicate to 'nossa Senhora da Imaculada Conceicao' and is built in Renaissance style.
The church bell is the second largest in Goa, after the Golden Bell in the Se Cathedral.
